Diamonds and Jewelry Direct was founded to provide more personal and trustworthy service than you can find at a retail jewelry store but at prices that compete with, and often beat, those available at impersonal online sources.

We do this by operating without the two major costs of a retail store, i.e. rent and large physical inventory. Instead, we maintain a small inventory consisting only of pieces that are extraordinary values and then have an enormous "virtual" inventory available from several diamond importers and brokers.

Rick Baskin, owner, holds certifications in diamonds and diamond grading from the GIA (Gemological Institute of America)and DCA (Diamond Council of America). He is the former manager of the largest store in a well known regional jewelry chain.

We operate in the Raleigh area where we can meet with customers personally and provide a combination of the service, knowedge, quality and value that cannot be found in stores or buying 'sight unseen' from websites.
